Jo Ann Travis Evans
Our quality of life is directly linked to the healthiness of our relationships with ourselves, our spouse, family, friends and coworkers. I believe human beings are born with the innate need to be in relationship with one another and, for some, experiencing safe, connected, and intimate relationships can be a challenge. The purpose of psychotherapy is to support clients in a collaborative way to help remove barriers and roadblocks that may prevent them from living the life they envision.
Ultimately, every person wants to be loved, to be heard, and to be understood, leading to a more satisfying and meaningful life.
I offer a relaxed, genuine, common sense approach. I believe everyone has exactly the tools they need to achieve their relationship goals whether it is addressing their ‘inner critic’, building a stronger relationship with their children or navigating changes and challenges in their marriage.
Clients are some of the most courageous people I know and making that first step may be a challenge for you. If you are struggling to find peace and contentment, I’d love to partner with you.
